Moovita is looking for a Senior/Lead Test Engineer to oversee black-box system testing and vehicle-level integration testing for our autonomous vehicle platform. You will lead a team of test engineers to validate system performance, ensure product reliability, and drive cross-functional collaboration across development, system, and validation teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead black-box testing and vehicle integration testing efforts across all test phases
- Define, review and continuously improve test plans, test cases, and test procedures
- Coordinate test execution across on-vehicle, lab-based, and simulated environments
- Work closely with software, hardware, and system teams to ensure full system test coverage
- Lead defect triage efforts and ensure timely issue tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution
- Develop and maintain test documentation: reports, logs, risk assessments, and test summaries
- Supervise and mentor a team of test engineers; assign tasks, monitor progress, and drive accountability
- Define and track KPIs and quality metrics to ensure test efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure vehicle test readiness: software loads, sensor checks, calibration, and hardware health
- Support the development of automated test tools to streamline testing and reporting

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, or related field)
- 5+ years of hands-on testing experience, with 2+ years in a test leadership role
- Deep understanding of black-box testing, system validation, and vehicle integration
- Familiar with AV system architecture and subsystems (perception, planning, control, etc.)
- Strong background in test planning, execution, and issue management
- Proficient with test management tools (JIRA) and documentation systems
- Experience in using or developing test tools/scripts (Python, C++, Bash)
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu, diagnostics tools, CAN systems, and vehicle interfaces
- Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license preferred (vehicle test operation)

**Preferred**:

- Experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive, robotics, or other safety-critical domains
- Understanding of safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
- Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing setups
