The Senior Software Engineer, Digital Testing will focus on improving internal software testing processes, leadership and organisation of Testing teams across Digital Technology (DT), and be hands-on with both manual and automation software testing where needed. You will support a number of key web/mobile product initiatives through the full agile software development lifecycle. The key technical skills are based around Web, Mobile and Automation testing so experience in a similar environment is essential and any experience with Performance and/or Load testing is highly desirable.

You'll play a role in the promotion of a Test-First mindset in the development teams.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Director in overseeing existing test resource allocation and skillsets with a view to optimise
- Provide assistance in areas of Web/UI/API testing where necessary, employing a BDD/ATDD approach
- Be an ambassador for agile testing, and promote a Test-First approach
- Provide leadership/mentoring to testing teams
- Help squads automate their tests, providing guidance and training where necessary
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Technical skills: Test-First (TDD/BDD/ATDD) methodologies, Web/UI/Mobile testing, REST/API testing, Load testing, JSON, XML, CI/CD, SOAPUI, JMeter, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, JIRA/Confluence
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile development practices
- Able to lead a team and manage senior stakeholders
