AVPN is looking for a **Senior Associate, Partnerships **to support the partnerships team in identifying partnerships and funding opportunities. The partnerships team is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing the grants and sponsorships that support AVPN in delivering on its mission to deliver Capital for Impact. Partnerships focus on maximising the revenue potential across the key revenue streams of grants, sponsorships, and earned income by building on the existing partnerships.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the partnerships team in the execution of key partnership and fundraising plans
- Assist with concept note preparation and proposal writing by working closely with AVPN programme and market teams to support high-probability partnership conversion.
- Support with managing partner relationships.
- Create and maintain partnership assets throughout the team.
- Work to manage the Salesforce dashboard to accurately reflect grants and sponsorship pipeline, proposal status, and project deliverables for the management team.
**Requirements**:
- 3-4 years experience in a regional partnership or business development role
- 2 years of relevant experience in non-profit or social investment organisations.
- You are a concise, compelling writer and an effective verbal communicator.
- You have strong presentation skills with excellent design and conceptual abilities.
- You are comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with competing priorities
- You meet deadlines and independently follow through on all assigned responsibilities. You navigate prioritizing your work effectively while managing multiple projects so that nothing falls through the cracks.
- You pay attention to minute details of projects and tasks to ensure excellence.
- Be used to collaborate vertically and laterally with leadership, colleagues, and clients.
- You have a strong interest in and passion for philanthropy and social investment.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)
