**A Snapshot**
As the EHS Lead - Operations for your assigned region, you will report directly to the Head of EHS - Business Operations and work closely with the wider EHS team, making your mark in several ways:

- Integral in building a safety culture by leading the health, safety and risk associated with business activities across Business Operations
- Drive implementation of excellence in EHS practice to ensure safety is a core value for all workers, contractors, and suppliers
- Implement industry-leading quality measures across the business that will lead to sustainable business outcomes

**Your Day to Day**
With a focus on Operational Data Centres and Support Offices, you will:

- Champion the safety culture and embed safety as a core value by engaging with workers, management and contractors to assist with the implementation of strategic EHS improvement initiatives.
- Lead incident management processes to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
- Support local teams to review near misses, incidents and incident investigations including root cause analysis and work with teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with risk management activities across Business Operations.
- Support the implementation of EHS management systems and improvements to data and information systems.
- Support compliance with legal safety requirements as well as internal management system requirements.
- Assist with presentations to customers and partner with customers, vendors and suppliers to achieve safety outcomes, as required.
- Assist with EHS critical initiatives, programs and projects as required.
- Provide EHS training, mentoring and coaching.
- Support improvements to EHS data and reporting systems including the collection, interpretation, analysis and presentation of data to identify trends and patterns for prompting action on improvements as required.

**Requirements**:

- Ideally, you have safety experience in developing economies.
- Experience in root cause analysis investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Auditing and inspection experience both internally and of third parties.
- Above-average writing and data presentation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of risk management strategies and processes.
- Experience in the development and implementation of safety management systems.
- 5+ years' in a safety role with experience with operations and contractors in high-hazard industries such as construction, oil & gas, mining, or processing plants - critical environment experience is highly regarded.
- Professional attitude with persuasive skills in making things happen.
- Experience positively influencing workers, management, and contractors.
- Proven knowledge and experience in EHS.
