Marketnode is an SGX / Temasek joint venture which focuses on the digital asset infrastructure for traditional capital markets products such as fixed income and funds..

Marketnode is looking to re-invent the way traditional financial instruments are originated, traded, booked, and serviced with the use of public blockchain. This goes across Ethereum, Polygon, blockchains and DEX(s) like Uniswap or Aave and would interact with stablecoins, CBDCs or other forms of tokenized money.

Our vision is to build end-to-end infrastructure for truly native digital assets.

As a result of continued business growth across our pillars, we are looking for **Head** **of Engineering** **to join us in building Asia’s premier digital asset infrastructure. Marketnode is delivering a robust DLT solution for Institutional Financial Markets globally, from our HQ in Singapore.

Profile wise, we are looking for motivated, self-starters with an agile mindset who enjoy working with multiple stakeholders to build successful new products. If you are passionate about and interested in the nexus between fintech and capital markets, we would like to talk to you. This job is based in Singapore.

**Job Summary**
- 70% Hands-on development and 30% people management experience
- Manage vendor resources and should be able to put a structure across products.
- Possess an Engineering related bachelor or higher.
- Software Development experience of 10+ years of relevant experience and played a role of Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering in the recent past.
- Technical knowledge in Front end & back-end processes, micro-services, API development and /or DLT, Blockchain
- Have been responsible to build and scale Tech teams in the past roles
- Good working knowledge of open-source tools and technologies.
- Closely collaborate with Product owners to understand the product roadmap and put together a Product development roadmap.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to speak to technical level staff and stakeholders.
- Mentor Junior developers and build career path for team members.
- Analyse technical feasibility of the software product from the problem definition, technical requirements, and proposed solutions. Work closely with the product team to document and develop requirements, estimation of timeline, and work plans.
- Adhere to high quality software development principles, best-practices, design patterns, and code documentation. Research on new technologies, current state-of-the-art development tools and equipment, and opportunities for process improvement.
