**Responsibilities:

- **
- Ensure high availability of Storage & Backup infrastructure;
- Manage and resolve incidents timely. Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service;
- Provide support for proactive and reactive issues pertaining to storage sub systems (SAN) and fabric to ensure optimal performance and availability;
- Perform hardware capacity forecasting, planning and utilization monitoring; make recommendations on hardware and software enhancements to fine tune or update the regional operating environment;
- Ensure security & compliant requirements are met, secure checks validation and perform Risk analysis and MCA;
- Provide technical support to both Application Support team and Data Center operation teams.

**Requirements:

- **
- Degree with at least 10 years’ experience in managing storage and fabric infrastructure with sound knowledge of storage hardware and system services;
- Storage knowledge on hardware configuration management for various storage hardware platforms like DELL, Hitachi, Pure, CISCO, Brocade FOS;
- Storage knowledge in configuration and management of Veritas Netbackup, Media Appliances and Dell Data Domain;
- Proficient in storage management tools such as solutions enabler, Unisphere U4V, and SRM;
- Sound knowledge and expertise in Operating Systems like IBM AIX, Redhat, Solaris and Windows platforms and power path, SRM, and storage virtualization tools;
- Experience and proficient in volume manager, File systems, snapshots, multipath software, CISCO and brocade switches;
- Experienced in performing storage migrations using San copy, Open replicator, Virtualization migrator;
- Shell/Pearl scripting experience and Ansible certifications will be advantageous ;
- Ability to work under pressure and after office hours, weekends when required.
