Storage Engineer

**Location Address - Singapore**

**Must be cat 1 (3rd generation Singaporean)**

Job description

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting end-to-end storage activities, including but not limited to assisting NAS and SAN technologies like NetApp CDOT / Oracle ZFS appliances / EMC Isilon.
- external vendor partners. Strong troubleshooting skills along with coordination to fix and, track and report them to completion
- Communicate effectively on functional and technical aspects to ensure successful executions
- Attend scheduled calls outside of local working hours
- Capable to monitor, report, manage security, performance management, and role-based access control. Management of Global NAS Infrastructure
- Incident management, good knowledge of ticket management tools
- Be a team player. Ability to manage/handle Sev 1 tickets on priority Support On-Call 24X7.

Minimum Qualification:

- Sound knowledge in end-to-end storage activities
- Manage systems to provide insight into storage utilization, pools, allocation, and configuration Ability to manage/handle Sev 1 tickets on priority and work in night shifts.
- analytical/problem solving ability. Time management and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- 5 years of relevant storage NAS and SAN technologies.
- Ability to multi-task, balance competing priorities and follow up in a timely manner
- Ability to work seamlessly with both vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team to achieve common objectives
- Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement on technology solutions
- Ability to identify and drive efficiency improvement initiatives
- Ability to escalate critical issues to internal and/or 3rd-parties, as appropriate, and communicate status and resolution to the team.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently while making sound decisions
- Comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards
- Good knowledge of industry tools
- Bachelors, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and /or relevant experience. Storage certifications for NAS technologies would be a plus.

Responsibilities include:
