Tescom is an IT consulting firm providing a range of professional services in functional testing, automation testing, cyber security testing, performance testing, independent IT auditing, usability testing, resource augmentation, IT support and training.

We are looking to hire an **Automation Test Consultant **with experience in using **Playwright **for automation testing, to join us in an exciting project.

**Responsibilities**

2. Create and maintain automation scripts using TypeScript, ensuring high-quality and efficient test scripts.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product owners) to understand testing requirements and provide feedback on test strategies.

5. Optimize and maintain the automation test framework to ensure its scalability and reusability.

6. Continuously improve the test coverage and reduce the time spent on manual testing through automation.

7. Report on test results, track issues, and contribute to the continuous delivery of reliable software.

**Qualifications**

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. At least 2+ years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on Playwright and TypeScript.

3. Proficiency in scripting with TypeScript, with strong knowledge of best practices in coding and test automation.

4. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

5. Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.

6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.

8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude towards delivering high-quality results.

9. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
