Job Description

You will establish all manufacturing test aspect of new products from design concept to full production release. Identify production test needs, translate those needs into equipment requirements and then convert those requirements to practical detailed designs for cost-effective and reliable production test equipment. Create project checklists, required documentation, SAP document structures in compliance with Common Process Development deliverables. Create electrical and mechanical drawings. Work with new product/project managers to provide test equipment deliverable.

Design new test fixtures and update existing fixture designs for Processors, Communication and Digital/Analog IO products.

You will report to Manager based in Singapore.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Participate in the new product design evaluation process. Provide design for test feedback or requirements to the product team during the design phase to assure testability and test coverage as part of the validation plan. Based on the design requirements, develop a test plan and test specification. Manage and communicate project timelines and action plans to deliver cost-effective test solutions and within budget.
- Mental and visual ability to develop software using multiple programming languages (including C++, C#, NI TestStand or PLC, etc.) for production test equipment.
- You will Help develop and implement departmental objectives. Help implement production and test strategies to meet financial objectives. Maintain and track project financials and timelines to meet the assigned project deliverables.
- Develop and implement strategies for the procurement and installation of all test related capital equipment required for Rockwell production facilities.
- You will be Responsible for design of electrical circuitry, sizing components and working with vendors to develop test fixtures. Selects proper test strategies based on test coverage requirements to provide a safe, reliable, manufacturing test solution
- Create and release documentation on all aspects of the test solution:

- Manufacturing Test Plan
- Test specification
- Test coverage
- Test Procedures
- EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (EE/CS), equivalent education, or experience.
- 0 years' experience as a test engineer contributor in a team-oriented project environment, including design of test equipment for production.
- Experience developing software using languages or platforms such as C, C++, C#, NI Test Stand, etc.
- You will be asked to read and interpret new product designs consisting of electronic circuit schematics and bills of materials (BOM).
- Knowledge of electronic hardware.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communications in English.
