Inspect parts for material defects and irregularities
- Required to maintain Certification/Proficiency in other processes of similar skill level such as TDM, CDM, CVM, BTM or Holography
- When specified in the written practice, be capable of developing work instructions form approved general procedures
- Work from engineering specifications and/or oral/written instructions to perform, at a minimum, one NDT technique, which can include ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant and eddy current
- Routes rejected parts and assemblies to appropriate department for disposition and/or repair
- Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Assists other departments with tasks in other production cells/locations
- Performs various inspection methods including penetrant (PT), magnetic particle (MT), and radiographic (RT) testing
- Operates radiographic testing equipment, including x-ray machines and isotope exposure devices, in accodrance with applicable regulations, codes, and procedures
- Evaluate test results and make accurate accept/reject decisions in accordance with appropriate reference standards

Qualifications required:

- Additional certifications of other NDT methods preferred, MT, UT, RT, ET
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools micrometers
- Must be flexible to changing tasks and workload
- Must be willing to work overtime when required to support AMS Department requirements and goals
- Must be a team player, show initiative, and display willingness to learn
