- **Monitoring competition**: Gathering information on pricing, products, and trends in the market
- **Preparing reports**: Preparing weekly and monthly reports
- **Resolving complaints**: Resolving customer complaints and concerns
- **Processing transactions**: Processing sales transactions

**Requirements**:

- **Communication skills**: The ability to speak clearly and convincingly, and listen to customers to understand their needs
- **Negotiation skills**: The ability to reach agreements with clients that both parties are happy with
- **Customer service skills**: The ability to provide excellent customer service, as sales representatives are often the customer's first point of contact
- **Product knowledge**: The ability to answer questions about the product, the company, and how it compares to the competition
- **Time management skills**: The ability to manage energy levels and resources, and prioritize tasks
- **Ability to work independently**: The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- **Numeracy skills**: The ability to accurately and quickly calculate sales prices, discounts, and percentages
- **Knowledge of MS Office**: Familiarity with Microsoft Office
