Catering Driver

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible **Catering Driver** to join our team. As a Catering Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting food, equipment, and supplies to various event venues, ensuring all items arrive in perfect condition and on time. You will also play an essential role in supporting our team during event setups and breakdowns. This is a key role for ensuring that all catering operations run smoothly and professionally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food & Equipment Transport**: Safely load, transport, and unload catering orders, food, and event equipment to and from event venues while maintaining proper food storage and temperature control.
- **Timely Delivery**: Ensure all catering deliveries are made on time, according to the event schedule. Maintain an efficient delivery route and communicate any delays or issues with the team.
- **Setup and Breakdown Support**: Assist in setting up food stations, buffet tables, and other necessary equipment upon arrival at the event location. Help with event breakdown by packing up and transporting all items back to the warehouse.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Ensure the catering vehicle is in good working condition by performing regular checks and coordinating any needed maintenance or repairs.
- **Customer Service**: Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients, event organizers, and venue staff.
- **Food Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all food safety protocols during transportation to ensure food items are handled, stored, and delivered according to safety standards.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist with checking inventory levels for upcoming events, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working condition.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in a delivery or driving role, preferably within the catering or food service industry.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 20KG).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all orders and equipment are correct.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and customer service skills.
- Ability to navigate and plan efficient delivery routes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in catering or food service.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Forklift certification or experience handling large catering equipment is a plus.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,300.00 per month
