Singapore 2022 ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE SG PTE. LTD. Full time

Full P&L and business planning responsibility for the region which comprises up to 40+ different countries. To ensure that all Marketing, Sales, Innovation, S&OP and Financial short and long-term business objectives are met in the region.
- To translate, communicate and lead the implementation of the regional Must Win Battles in line with global prioritization. Decide on resource allocation that will materialize top line growth expectations in priority countries while optimizing profitability in the rest of the region.
- To successfully manage the risks inherent to this region (political instability, credit management, compliance).
- To build and deploy business processes across the region, (portfolio management committee, vector control stakeholder management, S&OP, business planning, knowledge management and sales excellence, people development) and ensure alignment with regional / global processes.
- Ensure understanding and focus across the organization for the complete customer offering (PPM, VC, IVM, Forestry, Turf, Digital ecosystems, ecommerce and channel management).
- Build regional capabilities for developing, implementing and executing disruptive new business models utilizing BAYER innovation toolkit such as ES Incubate and catalyst box.
- Ensure leadership in the field of sustainable business development and actively engage with stakeholders and policy makers
- Coordinate ES Regional Supply Chain topics, ensuring delivery of solutions to customers
- As a member of the ES EMEA-APAC leadership team, actively contribute to the steering of operations and the strategic direction of the region.
- Inspire and develop our people. Encourage diversity, entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, teamwork and a winning attitude. Identify and develop talents that bring diversity.
- Responsible for the regional interface with the BCS APAC LT, the ES EMEA-APAC Management in Lyon as well as with global functions including Supply Chain, Marketing and Innovation.
- The incumbent has to manage and deal with an unpredictable VUCA environment: extreme level of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity across the whole Region triggered by some very unfavorable currency exchanges, some huge political instability, some different market dynamics and some significant structural and transformational activities.
