The Research Liaison Officer will be responsible for providing timely and in-depth research and information on country specific development, landscape review, contacts, and country-specific learned data.

II. Your Scope

The Research Liaison Officer will work with the COO to implement project activities. Responsibilities will include:
Ø Daily coordination of project activities in-country and communication with the Singapore office

Ø Provide up-to-date research on country-specific best practice information from local and national research institutions.

Ø Build collaborative relationships with institutions, organizations and associations in order to construct an inclusive and diverse network of specialists in priority sector areas.

Ø Work with the Singapore office for knowledge-sharing, marketing and communications, expenditures and budgets, and publication and information dissemination.

Ø Generate up-to-date content for the portal, website and identify experts to expand the Specialist Database.

Ø Assist in the technical design process of national workshops and follow-on activities. Support in all logistics for national-level workshops (if any)

Ø Liaise with local, national, and regional partners, donor agencies, universities, NGOs, mission staff, international and regional experts, and colleagues.

Ø Work collaboratively with Project Managers and local units for timely responses to project requests and on-going sector research.

Ø Initiate regular communication with staff in-country (where applicable) on a regular basis and remain abreast project needs and communicate these to the Singapore office. Keep current and accessible.

Ø Disseminate information to all in-country networks about regional knowledge in the priority sector areas that have been generated and collated through the Singapore office.

Ø Compile, in collaboration with the Singapore office, the annotated bibliographic series, research highlights, TIPS, and technical publication series for print and electronic distribution.

Ø Carry out administrative duties necessary (ie. compiling procurement documents, submitting expenses, keeping limited inventory, etc.)

Ø Provide other assistance as needed.
