Core Responsibilities
- Using technology to drive efficiency in delivering product assortment list for all Business Units / Markets across APAC with consistent format and high useability to all functions (E.g., demand planning, sales and marketing). Administer cross-departments inputs to report channel product portfolio.
- Maintain annual functional pricing for Business Unit thru. Deliver and use consistent request / ticketing tool to host the SAP master-data maintenance service offering to APAC region.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of customer master data in SAP system within APAC region.
- Cooperates with Regional and business units, Regional Customer Development and Customer Services stakeholders ensuring master data is correctly maintained.
- Manages APAC customer hierarchy including troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Manages customer hierarchy linking and cooperates with IT and Business Intelligence colleagues on associated customer data flows.
- Co-drives capability development in the areas of customer master data management and customer data management, with APAC and global peers.
- Play an active role in troubleshooting network, supporting colleagues with Master data issues, sharing knowledge and best practice across BU’s and on a regional and global level.

This is a new position in the APAC-China Supply Chain Operations (SCO) organization. SCO function covers end-to-end from capacity, inventory, demand and supply planning, distributions to customer logistics.

With more tools and systems deployment on our supply-chain digitization journey, the demand to synchronize product and customer master-data across systems becomes important for both regional and local business units. Master-Data Administrator is responsible for assortment list reporting, channel product portfolio administration and customer functional pricing across all APAC markets, covering Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, South-East Asia, and Taiwan.

Master-Data Administrator is the lead who understand the usage of such data in different stake-holders’ business context. Master-data changes and impact is monitored and communicated to the region with business impact in mind ( e.g. product-life-cycle event, pricing event, etc.) To create synergies through centralization, the Master-Data Administrator is also responsible for developing efficient digital solutions using the existing IT platform (e.g. SAP, HANA, Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, Python, Data-Lake, etc. ) to support the reporting and service request administration.

Success of the role is defined by data and reporting accuracy, productivity, and reliability in handling master-data service requests. This is achieved through stake-holders’ management with global, regional and local teams, business understanding and passion to drive optimal ways in managing data across multiple systems.
Do you have what it takes?
- Fluent in SAP Material Master-Data, Customer Master-Data and Customer Hierarchy setting and management
- Hands-on experience in working with large set of data and defining data-consistency thru governance
- Hands-on reporting automation using technologies, and according to business need. Able to find alignment amongst different business requirements across global, regional, and local. Consistent in data reporting and data management.
- Self-initiate in transforming routine work to find synergies thru data-governance and automations.
- Deliver routine reporting need from local BU on assortment, customer master-data and functional pricing master-data.
- Able to classify data confidentiality and administer the access-right to master-data.
- Experience working with IT in an agile fashion.
- Be a team player and willing to support colleagues with additional tasks at peak periods.
- Educated in operations management, engineering, finance, or technology discipline
- Certifications in SAP, HANA, MS Power Platform, Python, Database Management, Agile Project Management is not mandatory, but bringing advantages
- 2-3 years’ experience as an SAP Key User, In master-data / material management domain.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining digital solutions including but not limited to tabular reports, visual automatic dashboards, and data extraction / transformation.
- Experience / certification in database management and programming will be advantage
- Experience in agile project management, leading change, and delivering deployment user training
- Advanced English. Capable to adjust language usage in regional communication.
