**Assistant Maintenance Engineer (Utility/Building)**:
**Assistant Maintenance Engineer - Utility & Building - Your future position?**
Location: Singapore, Woodlands
Reporting to: Engineering Manager II

Core Responsibilities
- Establish maintenance programs in compliance with EHS, GMP and local regulatory codes for all utility systems and building including fire protection systems.
- Comply with all site EHS requirements and actively participate in EHS site wide pro-gram (e.g. safety inspection), never put oneself and others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace incidents, near misses and hazards as soon as practicable.
- Active participation with stakeholders to address safety concerns.
- Ensure safe, reliable, quality Utilities supplies to all the end users.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issue and break-down
- In charge of Electrical and Mechanical maintenance activities in the plant.
- Lead/Participate in Root Cause analysis, implement corrective & preventive measures and drive records for timely closure to prevent recurrence.
- Review maintenance service reports, preventive maintenance checklists, repair log sheet and equipment downtime to improve the Utilities, Waste water and Fire Protec-tion systems.
- Establish effective service contracts/agreement with vendors with the necessary spare part list and effective inventory level to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
- Provide engineering support during routine and shutdown maintenance work.
- Drive/support initiatives to meet department and site goals
- Support site expansion, CAPEX and continuous improvement projects
- Carries out any other works and tasks as directed by Manager
- Participate and drive continuous improvement according to site Continuous Improve-ment Initiatives.

Education
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

Experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of plant utilities system, preferably in Food and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants

Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Familiar with CMMS- SAP (Maintenance module).
- Good knowledge of local regulatory rules and regulation and EHS requirements.
- Strong technical knowledge in Chiller and ACMV
- Hands on experience in VSD, Electrical control system & PLC/BMS
- Knowledge in maintenance of HT/LT power distribution system
- Familiar with Building Management System.
- CI Yellow and Green belt certified.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal and proven performance in problem solving
