[What the role is]

Manager / Deputy Manager, Financial Reporting and Payment

[What you will be working on]

You will be an integral member of the Finance team responsible in the overseeing of the Authority’s statutory accounts, cost review and allocation, and analysis for reporting. The main deliverables include the following: (1) Contribute to the monthly financial accounts closing activities, preparation of audit schedules, reconciliations, cost allocation and analysis for financial & management reports. (2) Partner with internal divisions to provide accounting treatment and ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, accounting standards and all other relevant statutory & Government Instruction Manual requirements. (3) Provide operational support for system enhancements, process improvement and/or development of new systems such as streamlining/automation of work processes for business transformations, User Acceptance Testing, change management briefings and users training. (4) Participate in corporate-wide initiatives arising from new functions and business areas and in the defining and reviewing of processes, accounting treatment and finance governance framework. (5) Liaise with various external stakeholders such as Auditors, Government Agencies and Ministries.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary Qualification in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 4 - 7 years of relevant working experience in Accounting/Audit.
- Meticulous and proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Words and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, resourceful, self-driven and a good team player.
- Ability to interact with officers of different backgrounds and management at all levels.
