L&G Asset Management is currently looking to hire a Fixed Income Investment Specialist based in Singapore. An exciting opportunity where you’ll work closely with investment desks, the wider investment specialist team, distribution, and product teams.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Being the lead fixed income investment specialist representing Global Credit strategies including Active Global Benchmarked and Unconstrained strategies (Global Corporates, Global Aggregate, Absolute Returns and Global Government)
- Acting as proxy for the firm's fixed income portfolio managers at client meetings, technical pitches, and conferences
- Clearly communicating and articulating the firm’s investment process and research capabilities
- Driving growth in Active Strategies financial KPIs: AUM, Revenue, ANNR and Net Flows
- Working closely with Sales and Marketing to facilitate & deliver the sales strategy, marketing approach and client requirements
- Contributing to the commercial strategy and raising assets efforts in collaboration with the specialist sales and regional distribution teams
- Acting as a driver for product development and product management initiatives
- Contributing to the analysis of market trends and competitor landscape to understand investor requirements
- Adhering to risk and compliance requirements set out by the business and any regulators
- Contributing to the overall strategy of the firms fixed income capabilities, including new product strategy ideas.
- Practicing L&G Asset Management cultural values and behaviours, that help make us a business that all can be proud to work for and would recommend to others. Participating in a risk and conduct risk aware culture, including having an awareness of the Consumer Duty regulation and the need to ensure the delivery of good client and customer outcomes

**Who we're looking for**:

- CFA (or equivalent) or Masters preferred
- Fluent in English
- Strong experience in asset management within an investment or technical distribution role
- Direct and prior experience necessary in a similar investment specialist/client portfolio manager/product specialist
- Proven in depth fixed income knowledge
- Excellent presentation skills and communication with ability to articulate complex investment philosophies
- Strong business development drive and ability to close businesses
