We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **Associate, Multinationals - Global Banking & Markets.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- A client facing role to support a team of Relationship Managers including regional account managers in the Global Banking, Multinationals team on client management & business development activities for a portfolio of Multinational (MNC) clients with complex requirements
- Communicate and liaise or coordinate with various internal stakeholders for example, Global Relationship Banker, in-country relationship managers, Credit Risk, Legal, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Global Markets, Operations to support client requirements and address client queries or issues in a timely manner in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist in client planning, and co-ordinating origination & execution efforts across HSBC's universal banking product platforms, including global markets, cash management, global trade & receivables finance, securities services, capital markets and advisory
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and perform to the highest standards, combining client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities
- Demonstrate leadership on Regulatory and Compliance matters
- Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
- Uphold the highest level of integrity and act as a role model for all HSBC values and business principles

Requirements
- Degree in business, finance accountancy or economics is desired
- Proven experience in managing corporate client relationships and driving business performance in a dynamic environment
- Strong knowledge of Global Banking products and services, general knowledge of trade, treasury, and payment & cash management products
- Team player and detail oriented
- Good credit, analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
