Job Introduction

BBC Studios Asia is looking to hire a **Motion Designer **to create promotional and marketing assets for use on our branded channels, streaming and social platforms across the Asia region.

This is an exciting and dynamic role suitable for a motion designer with experience working in broadcast media. Reporting to the Lead Creative, the Motion Designer will be responsible for the creation and delivery of design assets using After Effects, Photoshop and C4D.

As part of the wider BBC Studios, APAC creative team, you will work collaboratively with your creative colleagues on concept development and the execution and delivery of assets for all our BBC branded services.

The BBC Studios creative team is key to ensuring we deliver world class creative solutions to all our stakeholders within BBC Studios branded channels, brand partnerships, content sales, on-air and off-air marketing in North and South East Asia and Greater China.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- To produce distinctive content on a variety of platforms.
- To understand our brand and act as a brand guardian and custodian
- To work effectively with your colleagues and other departments ensuring you maintain excellent relationships throughout.
- To keep up to date with emerging industry trends.
- Share design expertise and creative solutions for the benefit of the audience.
- Be accountable for the quality of your work and ensure it meets intended purposes.

To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate the following:

- You will have 3-5 years of experience working as a motion designer in a similar environment
- An experienced Adobe Creative Suite user, able to display expertise in After Effects and C4D
- A passion for and a great understanding of the area in which the role operates.
- Portfolio evidence of excellent design work demonstrating creative flair.
- Able to deliver different approaches and design styles.
- Able to talk through your design decisions with a diverse range of people; evidence of successfully collaborating and sharing your ideas.
- Keep pace with latest design trends and technology developments
- Have a strong understanding of social media platforms, specifically Instagram and Facebook
- Excellent organisational, attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and able to talk through your design decisions.
- You are creative and able to work both independently and collaboratively
