**Responsibilities**:
Develop and maintain national measurement standards for gas analysis, isotope analysis, and particle measurements.
Establish international equivalence of chemical standards through participation in measurement comparisons.
Disseminate national chemical standards and measurement technologies to industry through calibration and analytical services, preparation of certified reference materials, and development of advanced calibration and measurement services.
Conduct laboratory experiments and develop basic software tools to collect and analyze data in collaboration with other Metrologists and Scientists in the team.
Actively explore ways to enhance laboratory operations through automation and digitalisation.
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Contribute ideas and suggestions in team meetings to improve measurement methodologies and processes.
Enhance industry measurement capabilities by developing and conducting proficiency testing and training programmes on gas analysis, isotope analysis, and particle measurements.
Implement and maintain laboratory quality systems in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 standards.
**Requirements**:
Relevant qualifications and strong background in Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Entry Level position
Familiarity with chemical analytical instrumentation used for measurement and testing.
Capability to work autonomously yet collaboratively within a team.
A proactive team contributor who is self-driven, eager to learn, and adopts a positive approach to challenges.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Programming skills (e.g. Python, SQL, TensorFlow, Matlab, R) and experience in automation and digitalisation is an advantage.
Additionally, the applicant will work on precision measurements and the development of national measurement standards for chemical compositions. He or she will participate in knowledge transfer activities such as training and consulting services to strengthen industry measurement capabilities and provide industry-focused solutions.
