You will be a key member of a passionate team responsible for building and managing a collaborative lab where start-up companies can experience and “play” with Seagate’s systems and solutions. You will be working with an international team across multiple countries and continents, and across various functions including finance, product, public relations and marketing.

**About the role - you will**:

On this role, you will be working with local innovative startup partners with exciting data-driven solutions. You will play a key role in enabling and boosting these innovations in Singapore ecosystem, leveraging edge-to-cloud storage solutions from Seagate.

You will be the go-to person for many startup engagement activities from Lyve Labs Singapore, providing market insights, engagement management, operational support, tracking and reporting for internal cross-team updates. You will be successful by:

- Representing Seagate Lyve Labs Singapore from a marketing and operations perspective to the start-up ecosystem and community, building trust, credibility and excitement both internally and externally
- Arranging and managing workshops, competitions and hackathons in the lab to engage local startups/developers. Managing third-party agencies to ensure successful delivery of services and outcomes.
- Assist in analyzing innovation and startup landscape in Singapore, providing market insights to team for design of engagement strategy and planning.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of startup engagement, including scouting, events, onboarding, collaboration tracking and closure.

**About you**:

- A Degree in Engineering or Business
- Strong in communication and presentation skills
- Attention to details and well organized, passionate about innovations, and a self-learner.
- You have flexibility and can comfortably work in a quickly changing environment
- You have strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Entry level graduates are welcome to apply.

**Your experience includes**:

- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, or business development will be preferred
- Experience with planning, organizing and hosting large-scale events

**Location**:
The Shugart site (named after Seagate's founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT station, many employees choose to take mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available. Being a purpose built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym and recreation rooms. Our yogo and zumba classes are very popular. We also offer classes and interest groups in photography, gardening and foreign languages, and have various on-site celebrations, and community volunteer opportunities.
