**Gallery Assistant (INTERN)**

Responsibilities:

- Promptly and warmly welcome guests to the gallery
- Manage day-to-day gallery operations including housekeeping
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our current exhibitions in order to best articulate relevant artistic concepts to visitors and conduct sales.
- Client development: develop client lists by notifying potential clients of particular works and exhibitions, according to their interests
- Assist with gallery exhibitions, openings and events
- Handle customer inquiries and support customer correspondence
- General administrative duties

Qualifications and requirements:

- Diploma in Fine Art and/or equivalent in Art History, Business, Studio Art, Arts Administration, Sales & Marketing
- Passion for modern, contemporary art and design
- A thorough knowledge of Microsoft/Outlook
- Good photography and eye for details
- Customer service-oriented
- A friendly and positive demeanour
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and additional hours as needed for client viewings, openings and events:
Packages:

- Basic salary $800
- 3 - 5 days work week, closed on Sunday and Monday
