We are preparing to launch an exciting new project - an innovation hub with a major Singaporean organisation. This will be the home of many experiments in retail and F&B-related technologies and business models, and support Singapore SMEs with programmes and events. It is the first of its kind in enterprise innovation here.

This innovation hub will open its doors in October, and we are looking for a dynamic individual to join the foundation team and support its operations.

What you would do

The Operations and Events Executive ensures that the innovation hub operates smoothly and thus allows our corporate, startup and tech ecosystem partners to do what they need and want to do at the hub with success. Ultimately, you help create an interesting and lively space.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for partners (including sub-tenants) at the innovation hub for operational and administrative matters
- Monitor the performance and state of the equipment and facilities, and assist users in troubleshooting
- Manage service providers, such as the cleaning company, and coordinate between the hub and our landlord’s facilities team if and when necessary
- Open or close up spaces at the hub on a daily basis (weekdays)
- Assist the Hub Programme Manager in organising and executing events, such as networking events and exhibitions; facilitating events in one of the hubs’ event/activity spaces; and responding to event-related enquiries
- Maintain a list of vendors and event-related contacts, and obtaining quotes from them when required

The working hours for this role are 9am to 7pm. Given the nature of this role, you must be prepared to work beyond the normal hours, for which you will be entitled to an overtime allowance. Similarly, if you are required to work on a weekend, you will be entitled to an extra payment.

Attributes that we love to see in you
- Experience with facilities management and/or event execution
- A sunny disposition and street smarts (the ability to effectively solve everyday problems)
- A genuine interest in SMEs and their business challenges, and an ability to quickly grasp tech innovation concepts and what the hub does
- Good communication skills

**Salary**: $2,800.00 - $3,400.00 per year
