Centre Head - BIS Innovation Hub, Singapore

Our mission at the BIS Innovation Hub is to foster international collaboration on financial technology within the central banking community to improve the functioning and efficiency of the international digital financial system. Key to this mission, our Singapore Centre benefits from being based in a region with extremely vibrant FinTech ecosystems, wrapid technological developments are taking place. This is reflected in the range of our current projects covering on Suptech, Regtech, CBDC and next-generation Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs)

We have an exciting opportunity for a leader to be the Centre Head for our Singapore Hub. You will:

- Lead the hub and contribute to the overall strategy.
- Lead efforts to scout new technologies in the region with the aim of increasing knowledge in areas of broad and critical interest to central banks and with a view towards the production of potential global public goods in the technology space.
- Design and complete a range of projects on digital innovation as part of the global agenda of the Hub, leveraging the regional strengths and specialist skill sets of the Hub Centre.
- Provide direct oversight of the operations of the Hub Centre, ensure its effective functioning and rapid delivery of project goals.
- Have significant work experience within central banking, economic research or financial industry areas with a deep knowledge of fintech issues.
- Extensive experience in financial stability analysis and understanding of public policy issues
- Sound knowledge of financial technologies and their implications for the global financial system
- Practical experience in leading projects and a track record of successful delivery.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead high-performance multi-disciplinary teams to execute complex projects consistent with the mandates of the Centres.
