**Responsibilities**:
As a Sales & Merchandising Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our merchandising team's efforts to optimize product assortment, presentation, and sales strategies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of merchandising within a dynamic industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the planning team to assist in the allocation of product assortments.
- Assist the retail stores in new product allocation and replenishment process
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences.
- Monitor sales performance and evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and pricing strategies.
- Implement action plans where needed to drive results.
- Contribute to the preparation of promotional materials and signage.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
**Learning Objectives**:
- Gain practical exposure to the retail industry, specifically in sales and merchandising.
- Understand the dynamics of product assortment planning and its impact on sales.
- Learn how to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including visual merchandising, marketing, and sales operation.
- Develop effective communication skills through interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
**Pre-Requisites**:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Enthusiastic about retail and consumer products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Independent player with strong initiative and having a start-up mindset.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Passionate about gaming and technology (a plus).
