Liberty/entertainment/deployed Forces Support Coordinator

This position is located in the N922 Division of the Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department at Singapore Area Coordinator (SAC). The position is that of Liberty/Entertainment & Deployed Forces Support Coordinator. The incumbent is a person within the MWR Department that serves on several committees and is under the direct supervision of the N9 Fleet and Family Readiness Director.

**Duties**
- Responsible for organizing and administering recreational activities and programs for the Fleet in Singapore and its East Asia area of responsibility (AOR).
- Coordinating and supporting the efforts of local departments and organizations in meeting the quality-of-life (QOL) needs of afloat units.
- Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for contracts supporting QOL needs of afloat units visiting Singapore and the South East Asia AOR.
- Manages the day-to-day operation of the Single Service Member Program in the area of responsibility that frequently includes short fuse requirements for visiting units of the U.S. Seventh Fleet.
- Serves as SAC Fleet Manager for all SAC MW Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) vehicles. Ensures registration, fuel, and maintenance information for all NAF vehicles is reported to CNIC monthly and entered into the Base Support Vehicle and Equipment Management Information System (BSVEMIS). Fuel and maintenance information must be entered in to BSVEMIS quarterly to meet the mandated annual data reporting requirements of Executive Order 13423 and Energy Policy Act (EPAct) 2005.
- Coordinates all Navy Entertainment and Armed Forces Entertainment events in Singapore frequently with little lead time ensuring all rider requirements are met and arranging adequate marketing for each event.
- Operates vehicle for entertainers pick up/drop off at the airport, local tours, ship visits and port, shopping and market analysis trips. Must possess a current/valid Singapore driver's license.
- Manages CNIC fleet exercise / recreation equipment grant program. Surveys visiting US ships to determine both long term and short term exercise/recreation equipment needs. Completes all phases of the procurement process including storage and distribution. Ensures proper administration of the program with extensive record keeping and attention to detail.
- Prepares appropriated and non-appropriated funds program operation budget requirements for submission with the overall budget for the department. Determines supplies, equipment, and other resource needs for the program.
- Program planning must take into consideration diverse ethnic, social, cultural, and economic backgrounds of patrons, a mobile population within the military community, the impact of drugs and abuse, racial prejudices, sexuality, and other factors that influence the development of young adults.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Conditions of Employment**
- Satisfactorily complete and maintain favorable background checks to include Local Agency Check (LAC).
- Incumbent must be able to work varied work schedules of 35-44 hours a week to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of one year experience in MWR that demonstrates a working knowledge of the assigned program.
- Possess a valid Singapore Driver's license.
