Initiated by Metta Welfare Association, **Metta Café (慈光聚缘轩) **was established in 2014 to provide F&B vocational training for Metta School graduates aged 18 and above, with mild intellectual disability and/or autism. Our mission is to provide an avenue for these youths to acquire vocational, work and life skills through our comprehensive training and development programmes and to create employment opportunities to help them achieve economic independence, self-reliance and build confidence.
- To ensure customers are greeted politely and serve efficiently.
- To maintain cleanliness and hygiene in Café
- To provide and promote Café menu and products to customers.
- To assist in the retail corner for enquiries and payment
- To ensure the amount of money received from retail corner tallies with receipt issued.
- Assist in stock taking and storage of stock which includes pricing, checking deliveries etc.
- To assist in setting up, preparation and area clearing for catering orders, corporate events and parties
- To assist in training the apprentices/trainees where necessary
- Participate / support in fund-raising events as assigned by Manager.
- Any other duties assigned by Manager.

**Other Requirements**
- Computer literate, good in Microsoft office word, excel, power point.
- Conversant in English as well as respective mother tongue
- Minimum primary school qualification
- Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Hardworking, meticulous and responsible
- Good conversational, interpersonal skills

**Working Location**
- Simei

**Working Schedule**
- 5-day work week (inclusive of weekends)
- 40 hour per week
- Shift timing such as 7am - 4pm / 8am - 5pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month
