- about 4 hours agoWe are currently working with a global Data Centre Developer with strong expansion growth strategy regionally to bring in a talented Pre-sales professional who has strong experience and connection in the hyperscale sector to add value to the APAC team. If you are successful in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an exciting, energetic team with a strong, open culture with a strong desire to grow aggressively, regionally.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible to lead the Solutions engineering function for the business unit across Asian Pacific.
- Key coordination point, working with our sellers, to deliver successful client solution responses to tenders and RFP’s and must have demonstrated experience at working with hyperscale clients’ decision-making teams.
- Instrumental in bringing together teams such as sales, site development, design engineering and construction teams to develop the most innovative and best-fit solutions for client requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are essential across the spectrum of technical, operations, SLA’s, financial and up to C-Level executives.
- This is a team leadership role and requires a leader with a track record of success at delivering innovative, sophisticated solutions in a sometimes time-pressured environment.
- Assisting sellers in sales and pre-sales activities with the hyperscale cloud clients
- Ownership of the solutions and responses for RFP/ Tender/ solution process with our clients
**Key Requirements**
- Significant experience in data center infrastructure solution sales, marketing and management
- Prior experience with complex solution sales, data center infrastructure and professional services
- High degree of competency in business presentations and business acumen required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience, required
- Experience in Sales Engineering and/or Systems Engineering required
- Travel when border restrictions permit, is expected to be greater less 25%, but may vary over time as the business evolves
- Preferred work location is Singapore with other APAC locations considered
