[What the role is]

The People & Culture (P&C) team attracts, develops, engages, and retains human capital so that they can

effectively support NCSS’s mission and purpose.

You will lead and oversee the People Relations (PR) team to drive and oversee several HR functional areas such as HR systems, business partnering, talent attraction, performance management, compensation & benefits.

[ W hat you will be working on]

This role supports the Director (People & Culture) in the following areas:

- Oversee a team of eight HR professionals who work closely with the business to support people-related needs across the full spectrum of HR, such as recruitment and re-employment, staff movements (e.g. secondment, exits), payroll and benefits operations, as well as ad-hoc requests.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues throughout the employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, including providing professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and employment legislations.
- Review existing HR policies and SOPs for continuous improvement and relevancy to support business needs.
- Manage audits and compliance-related matters and oversee operations of the HR functions including: - Service conditions (e.g. employee benefits, declaration matters)
- Compensation and rewards
- Leave matters
- Tracking of expenditure related to manpower needs
- Staff records.
- Lead Tech HR digitisation to streamline employee experience, including good partnership with outsourced vendor to good management of Cumulus (WorkDay) data and processes.
- Lead employer branding, building talent pipelines, and initiatives to support employees’ mental wellness.
- Oversee grievance, and disciplinary-related matters.
- Oversee matters relating to Risk Management.

- Familiar with public sector HR policies and procedures

- HR knowledge including IHRP Certificate

**Requirements**:
Preferably at least 8 years of experience in HR, and has good knowledge and understanding of full spectrum of HR
