**About our Client**

Our Client is an MNC and has a market lead position in the Telecommunications industry, with a multi-million turnover in worldwide markets. The company is committed to responsible business conduct and driven by the ambition of empowering societies. With increasing demand and new business ventures, they are currently looking for a Director (Head of Towers Infrastructure) to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue to improve the Value Chain.

Your major responsibilities will involve managing the team in your category portfolio mainly in Towers Infrastructure as well as extensive stakeholder engagement. This is a strategic Procurement position.

Your other responsibilities include:

- Develop and execute category strategies for the team
- Develop strong relationships with Local and Global stakeholders to influence Category Strategy
- Category ownership for Towers Infrastructure Category
- Lead strategic business review with key suppliers
- Head Business Negotiations with Key customers and Suppliers
- Full ownership of the Towers Infrastructure Category and Team
- Extensive stakeholder engagement
- Client engagement and client facing

**The Successful Applicant**

You should possess a degree in Supply Chain or equivalent related studies and you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement or Category Management. Experience in the Telecommunications, Consultancy and service providing sectors will be an advantage. You should also be strong with analytics as well as be sensitive to trends. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
