Executive Search: Our client is a global FMCG trading company, focusing on procurement and distribution of **liquor, spirits and beer beverages, confectionery **, groceries, and dry food. They work with first class suppliers and trading partners of the world’s most sought-after bands to serve their clients in Europe and APAC.

To their growing APAC business, and support the sales team in APAC, we are looking for an experienced **BWS Alcohol Purchasing Trading Manager **to work with both purchasing and sales, handling external suppliers, both in terms of assortment, price and negotiation. Should you have a network of clients, the role can also include B2B Sales / Trading to customers.

The role is responsible for building long lasting B2B relationships, develop them and find new ones that can help the company build a strong supplier base. Responsible for the expansion of the overall product portfolio is also a part of the role. Expect 30 to 50 travel days per annum

**The profile we are looking for:
- **3 to 10+ years of experience in Alcohol Trading, Purchasing or Sales of Spirits, hard liquor and beer.**
- Experience with procurement of food and confectionary also a plus
- Operational and tactical knowledge about cross-border trading
- Experience with and ability to handle large complex deals across borders.
- Well-connected to both brand owners, distributors, and traders in APAC
- Deep knowledge about risk assessment:

- Commercial acumen
- Well versed in **Incoterm, payment, fraud etc.**
- Well-developed “lie detector”. Able to spot when things are “too good to be true”.
- Able to align with rigid and strict risk guidelines from HQ
- Fluent in English. Mandarin language is an advantage.
- Experience with Axapta or an ERP system is an advantage.
- Structured and analytical in their daily working routine
- Talented in handling numbers and working in systems.
- Self driven, able to build and nurse relationships and develop them.
- Strong engagement and negotiation skills.
- Honest and reliable.
