Your role as the APAC Personal & Health Care Purchases Director is focused on developing sourcing strategies in support of growing demands of the health care business in the region, ensure delivering results through execution of those strategies across all materials, products and related organization design as relevant to APAC PHC business needs

**Your team**

You will report to a Senior Purchasing Director, located in Geneva, Switzerland in Purchases and will operate within a Business Leaders of different functions in Personal Health Care Business Lead Team, as representative of all Purchases needs, across spend-pools.

In this role, you are responsible as Director for the success of your Purchases team and ensuring our Purchases and Sourcing Strategies meets the needs of the fast-growing Personal Health Care business.

**Responsibilities of the role**
- Leadership - ability to successfully connect internal business needs with external market dynamics, reflected in long-term business, sourcing and organizational strategies, with influence of partners.
- Expertise Coaching - You will lead and coach your team as well as the team of business stakeholders to define break-through sourcing strategies, delivering competitive advantage to P&G PHC business in the industry. You will lead for Asia
- Based Purchases leaders in both direct and some indirect sourcing spend and will be able to demonstrate ability to wholistically lead business strategies across multiple spend-pools.
- Delivering results in volatile economic situation - You will have direct responsibility to delivering business results in demonstrated structural savings, value, innovation, and business growth for the business through integration and leveraging of relationships with key external partners and suppliers.
- Citizenship and Stewardship Compliance - You will have direct responsibility for stewardship compliance and PHC work to achieve our Company Citizenship goals, by connecting sourcing strategies and relationship strategies with external partners to the ever-evolving needs in sense of Stewardship compliance and P&G Citizenship objectives. Your ability to deliver to these targets will be measured via internal and external audits on that compliance.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 10+ years of Purchasing Experience and expertise in Strategic Sourcing - proven experience of developing and delivering Sourcing Strategies, that successfully impact industries to meet long-term business goals. Proven understanding of skills to build Sourcing Strategies in various spending pools (raw materials, packaging materials, contract manufacturing, services )
- Coaching excellence - Expertise and Experience (at least 10 years) in leading large, dispersed, multicultural teams, across variety of direct responsibilities in sourcing of at least second level managers of others
- Health Care expertise - experience in Health Care (pharmaceutical, health-care food supplements and herbal medicines) businesses and respective industries.
- Excellent negotiation skills demonstrating successes in both - strategic/ collaborative, innovation / IP and executional contract negotiations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, to regularly engage in discussions with senior management within P&G and our suppliers
- Strong leadership skills to drive supplier negotiations, lead external discussions
- Collaboration and interpersonal skills across geographies
- Agility working across challenging demands, changing landscape and brand needs, and new projects and challenges on a regular basis
- Ability to interpret insights from data and lead decision in the multi-faceted/ multi-functional settings.
- Deep understanding of stewardship, governance, and compliance
