You will be part of a team that evaluates the overall credit worthiness of governments and public institutions and their ability to meet their financial obligations for traditional credit-based products as well as a variety of structured transactions.

Summer interns will work with junior and senior analysts within S&P Global
At the end of our internship program feedback is provided, which could lead to an offer of a place on our 2026 Graduate program.

**Responsibilities**:
Learn and understand ratings criteria and methodology
Assist with preparing required documents for rating committee and issuer management meetings
Provide timely and accurate quarterly financial statistics and data analysis
Assist in reporting, research, presentations, projects and modelling
Support the team on improvement in execution and ad-hoc writing projects
**What we’re looking for**:
Postgraduate & Undergraduate students in their penultimate year of study only.
We welcome applicants who demonstrate a solid understanding of business economics and are pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
You must reside in the location of the internship throughout its entire duration.
You must have the right to work in the country of proposed employment.
Adept with Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Programming languages such as Python, C++, R, and VBA are recommended, but not required.
Able to learn quickly, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving, time-management, attention to detail and organizational abilities.
The ability and the desire to learn to conduct your own analysis and research.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
