Quality Control Technician

Overview:
The QC Technician is responsible to perform routine inspection/testing of product (raw material, semi-finished or finished product) as per established procedures.

He will support the QC supervisor/Specialist in managing QC activities such as reporting, failure investigation or other assigned tasks to meet QC operational requirements.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**:

- Ensure the timely execution of routine QC inspection and test activities per established QC procedures.
- Perform preliminary review on NC material, QC test failures and troubleshoots for possible root cause to facilitate disposition recommendation.
- Assist Supervisor in establishing/revising QC Inspection Plan and/ or methodology for new or existing product/ purchased material.
- Document inspection result and perform system transaction in the SAP after buyoff or inspection.
- Perform inspection and document results of FAI samples submitted from supplier for incoming material related.
- Initiate Quality Notification via SAP for Non-Conforming products detected during inspection or testing activities.
- Provides weekly/ monthly reports and metrics and any other task(s), as assigned by QC Supervisor.
- Able to verify documents such as COC, inspection report from suppliers.

**What You Bring**:

- Minimum Higher NITEC or Diploma in technical discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 years of QC inspection experience in similar regulated industry
- Experience in performing inspection of parts, such as PCBA, electrical and mechanical parts with reference to engineering drawing/specification.
- Working knowledge in using measurement tools such as vernier caliper, micrometer or smart scope for incoming material related.
- Working experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical drawings.
- Computer skills including Microsoft office tools-Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- ERP system experience required, SAP desirable
- Ability to collect, structure, analyze and communicate data using spreadsheets and dashboards
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or 13485. ISO 14971 and MDSAP are desirable.
- Experience in laboratory activities is desirable.
