**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and document requirements for payment system enhancements.
- Work with development and integration teams to define technical requirements, ensuring smooth cross-system interaction and mínimal impact.
- Translate business expectations into actionable functional and technical specifications.
- Proactively track potential risks and mitigate issues that could affect delivery timelines or project scope.
- Coordinate with offshore QA teams to create comprehensive test plans and review test outcomes for accuracy.
- Evaluate and categorize testing results to distinguish defects from change requests and ensure proper resolution paths.
- Diagnose production and test environment issues, engaging internal teams and vendors for root cause analysis and resolution.
- Oversee the backlog of change requests and incidents, ensuring prioritization and timely closure.
- Act as a Level 3 escalation point for production support, investigating and resolving complex system issues.
- Keep all system-related documentation and process guides current and accessible.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in payment systems, with a solid grounding in business analysis techniques with experience in BFSI space.
- In-depth knowledge of regional payment infrastructures (e.g., RTGS, ACH, NEFT, CITAD, G3 Fast, Payroll).
- Familiarity with ISO20022 standards and SWIFT protocols.
- Exposure to TCS BaNCS Payments platform is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset and adept at identifying and solving technical and business issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to operate both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Bonus: Working knowledge of Java/J2EE, Oracle databases, SQL, Unix/Linux, and IBM WebSphere.
