Hsseq Turnaround Specialist

Our client is the world’s leading producer of sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel and renewable feedstock solutions for various polymers and chemicals industry uses. They are also developing chemical recycling technologies and the capacity to combat the plastic waste challenge. Our ambition is to make the Porvoo refinery in Finland the most sustainable refinery in Europe by 2030 and to reach carbon-neutral production by 2035. They are introducing renewable and recycled raw materials such as liquefied waste plastic as refinery raw materials.
The job purpose is to execute their OEMS Principles, Standards, and Regulatory safety
requirements across organizations during business as usual across Singapore and
during Turnaround to ensure employees' and contractors' safety.
In this role, your main responsibilities include:
- Report to HSSEQ Lead Engineer during non-TA Period for HSSEQ execution
- Ensure their Corporate Principle, Standards, and applicable safety regulations are governed, driven, and executed to the right level of compliance, requirements, and expectation.
- Ensure cascaded actions and tasks from HSSEQ Manager and HSSEQ LeadEngineer are executed to the right level of requirements and expectations
- Support HSSEQ and Line Function teams in executing RPP Performance Plans related to the disciplines of HSSEQ
- Support and conduct contractor safety induction course
- Drive contractor Safety and performance jointly with cross-functional team
- Report and align with TA Manager for TA safety planning and execution
- Lead the TA safety team to execute the TA Safety Plan and activities
- Prepare and support contractors to work safely during TA
- Responsible and execute the TA Safety Plan to ensure contractors' and employees' safety and well-being are assured
- Ensure their Corporate Principle, Standards, and applicable Safety regulations are executed to the right requirements and expectations
- The bridge between Refinery & HSSEQ Organization and TA team so executions to HSSEQ principles are clear and aligned
- Act as the go-to HSSEQ person and focal point during TA
- Execute contractor safety induction course training topics and material and conduct contractor SIC training at the refinery
- Responsible for ensuring improvements, and lessons learned from (post) TA are implemented and executed to strengthen TA Safety Plan, process, and culture
**Requirement**
- Minimum a Degree in HSE or relevant
- Minimum 3 years working as TA Safety position in Refinery / Oil & Gas /Pharmaceutical setting
- WSHO and FSM certified
- ECO certification is added advantage
