The Team Lead for Product Marketing (Promotions) plays a critical role in the Strategic Marketing team to deliver promotion strategy and plan out effective promotions to counter the intense competition across all product lines to support the business to achieving our business targets. The incumbent must have a strong affinity in numbers and leverage on both internal, external and competitive insights and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to deliver strong business justifications for the promotions that drives topline while ensuring profitability of the business lines. You will have the opportunity to inject new ideas to execute promotions.

You will get to work alongside a young and dynamic team that delivers competitive promotions and marketing collaterals to support sales channels in raising awareness of the promotions for both existing and new to Income customers to drive sales acquisitions.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Digital Business team to understand digital platforms to drive online sales for our suite of insurance products as well as the Product Marketing teams in Life & Health as well as General Insurance to synergise product activities with the promotions.

**Job responsibilities**
- Lead and develop promotion strategy and calendar to optimise efficiency in driving sales, with regular tracking of sales performance and ability to drive action plans and make key decisions to pivot and optimise promotions to achieve business targets.
- Create compelling promotion tactics that optimise the profitability of the products, with a strong justification paper on the tactics proposed and business case, while driving the topline revenue and ensuring competitiveness of promotion against the competition.
- Create promotion materials with sharp messaging with key reason to believe (RTB) on products, along with engaging visual that is relevant to the target segment to drive brand equity. Oversee the operational efficiency and processes for promotion team while adhering to risk and compliance regulatory guidelines. This includes stakeholders and vendor management, customers handling, detailed budgeting and timeline management to deliver the consumer promotions effectively and efficiently. Lead and provide directions on system enhancements and testing required for promotion

**Experience**
- Degree in marketing/business or any related discipline
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Good business acumen
- At least 3 years of experience in people management
- 5 to 9 years of product marketing or promotion marketing experience will be preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
- Willing to challenge status quo and take risks
- Meticulous with a keen eye for numbers and details
- Proven track record of solid project management skills, delivering projects within deadlines and budgets
- Ability to analyse sales data and consumer trends to understand the behaviour of customers, translating them into actionable inputs and action plans
