Singapore WS ENGINEERING & FABRICATION PTE. LTD. Full time

Leading Rotating equipment discipline and Preparation of Job Specification, Equipment datasheet and selection of rotating equipment.
- To have single - point responsibility for all mechanical equipment engineering (rotating equipment) and mechanical package design deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client’s policies and procedures.
- Shall be responsible for the execution of activities related to the Rotating Equipment Engineering in the project and tendering.
- Define discipline list of activities and deliverables, setup time schedules and coordinate activities in accordance with Project schedule
- Coordinate discipline workflow, interfaces, quality checks and approval of discipline deliverables including vendor documents.
- Provide technical support to Project functions including Procurement and Construction
- Define and issue Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Purchase Requisitions, prepare Technical Bid Evaluations and coordinate Vendor follow-up activities
- Support the construction team in implementing the engineering solutions at site
- Possess sound knowledge in the Rotating Equipment’s such as Centrifugal Compressors, Gas Turbines, Pumps, reciprocating compressors & pumps and mechanical packages as per API codes.
- Sound knowledge about the applicable codes and standards.
- Prepare pump, compressor, gas turbine data sheets and handle the selection
- Procurement Assistance
- Preparation RFQ’s, Technical Bid evaluations, Technical clarifications, and Purchase specifications.
- Support bidding projects for estimates
- Liaise with other disciplines to collate information for the packages and update the relevant document / drawings for necessary.
- Liaise with Clients, Vendors and various agencies in EPC / Site requirements.
- Participate model reviews and provide inputs for material handling and prepare material handling procedure
- Review the nozzle loads and finalize the equipment
- Review of post order Vendor documents by Internal technical coordination between various disciplines to ensure vendor equipment design in accordance with discipline detail design.
- Make visits to site when necessary for collection of data, attending meetings, provide assistance in trouble shooting / construction issues.
- Attend shop inspection, FAT and tests if required and report the details.
- Train the junior engineers
- Work within allocated budgets and schedules, report progress.

**Requirements**:

- B.E. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University with minimum of 20 years relevant work experience
- Requires experience in rotating equipment detailed design such as Centrifugal compressor, Centrifugal pumps, reciprocating compressors, reciprocating pumps, Gas turbine generator and Gas Engines etc and shall be able to interpret applicable Codes & Standards thoroughly such as API 610, API 616, API 617, API 618, API 674 etc
- Shall willing to work in Coimbatore
- Preferred experience in offshore platforms, FPSO’s
- Shall be independently capable of handling large rotating equipment
