Roles & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform Lead Engineer's Role for Rotating Equipment/Packages.
- Manage technical solutions in medium or large size engineering in pump products and systems
- Create engineering drawings and specifications for components, products and mechanical designs working with internal and external customers through the development and approval process.
- Guide design engineers, review and approve design drawings created by members of the Engineering as well as by third parties
- Ensure quality and accuracy of product master data in Jeeves system as per latest updates required by sales, purchasing, production and aftermarket.
- Provide technical support to customer solution engineering, product improvement within Engineering and to other Hamworthy Pumps stakeholders
- Develop, maintain product data books, instruction, and operation manuals
- Ensure the product and/or solution quality, reliability, and functionality in cost efficient way for product improvement and/or product development projects.
- Work with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, Production, Sales, executive management, and others to develop winning solutions
- Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design or detail components
- Steer and report projects status and results with adequate conclusions and recommendations.
- Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks in own responsibility area.
- Work proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company with business and customer focus mindset
- Other tasks and special projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with mechanical designs involving rotative equipment, steel structures, piping preferred
- Ability to use AutoCAD, 3D CAD required; good understanding of CAD & GD&T standards
- Good People Management Skill and Strong team player who is able to work with people across functions and locations.
