As a Reporting and Analytics Senior Manager in the Global Capacity Management team, your role will be crucial in supporting our operations across regions. Reporting directly to the Senior Director and work closely with Regional Directors in APAC, AMER, and EMEA, you will be a key part of a Global team that manages and optimizes Data Center Capacity across over 240 Data centers spread across America, EMEA and APAC.
This is a newly created function, tasked to take ownership in resolving complex issues and reporting and contributes to the strategy of the function, playing an integral role in Capacity optimization. Your responsibilities are to develop, implement and scale analytics deliverables that inform critical business strategies through transformative analytics. You will be challenged to gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and deliver insights through compelling presentations, dashboards, or visualizations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Breakdown complex issues, define concisely the business questions at hand, and perform data-driven exploratory analysis to stress-test hypothesis
- Develop and present high-quality recommendation and deliverables (PPT, Word, scorecard/dashboard, etc.) for executive level consumption
- Own the design and development of dashboards, scorecards and other forms of performance trackers to present insightful findings in a visually compelling manner that helps leadership understand root cause issues
- Manage reporting and business analysts on the team to implement large scale analytics projects such as the quarterly operating reviews - the authoritative bible on the health of our business that guides key go-to-market decisions
- Lead other data and analytics practitioners to adopt best practices in effectively gathering intelligence, improving data quality, identifying key market trends, and formulating compelling insights
Data Exploration and Reporting
- Explores in-depth data across multiple files and platforms and makes key recommendations off the back of findings
- Applies leading edge analysis tools and techniques to determine and/or predict trends, correlations and causal relationships between variables
- Acts as a resource to business management and capacity engineers for best practices or processes to improve efficiency at site level
- Creates and manages complex ad hoc, planned and routine reports using insights from data exploration to build comprehensive reports with visualizations and insights
- Works on questions with significant tactical or strategic importance for a functional area in company, this may direct the work of other analysts in creation of reports
Client Management and Analytics coaching
- Acts as point of escalation to resolve complex inquiries and/or issues with customers and our internal stakeholders and colleagues
- Makes and implements recommendations of what data should be explored and debriefs with client to explain data insights and confirm report
- Comfortably and professionally presents data to colleagues and prepares them to present data and answer complex/unique questions
Data Audit and Cleansing
- Builds out dashboards globally to improve efficiency and consistency across our teams
**Qualifications, skill and experience**:
- Management level and above experience preferred in technical, retail, capacity or engineering industry
- Ability to make an impact and sway key decision makers through use of data driven decisions
- Master's degree preferred in related and relevant field
- SQL, PowerBI, Tableau experience and ability to adjust and adapt to any new proprietary systems and software
