Job description: Ensure quality of inspected items to meet project requirement and standard. Conduct welding procedure and welder performance qualification test as per standard ASME Sec. IX. Read, understand of International Standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASME sec IX, ASME V, AWS D1.1 preferred. Read, understand project related ITP, procedures, specification requirements. Review documents and drawings as per specification. Knowledge / experience about Piping Isometrics, P&ID. Maps, Welding symbols, Cutting Plans, Quality control procedures, Base Materials and welding consumables. Inspection, review of mill certificates, Material verification. Inspection of Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, valves, nipples, plate tubes as per respective materials specifications, Codes, Standards & Client Specifications. Inspection / Witness & Review Stage wise activities earlier stage of spool fabrication. Fit-up Inspection and welding inspection, visual inspection. Monitor and record welding parameter during welding as per WPS. Carry on & witness ferrite test inspection with Clint after welding duplex / super duplex pipe spools weld joints. Monitor and witness NDT, which includes UT, MT, PT and random RT film interpretation. Witness for post weld heat treatment and review the reports. line check inspection, Pneumatic Testing, Hydro test, hot oil flushing, Chemical cleaning, Flood test, flushing & reinstatement, till the final stage of color coding and valve tagging. Review test pack and all inspection reports for final approval. Inspection documents summit to Client approval. HSSE Requirements and Code of Conduct: HSSE: Act in compliance with the corporate HSSEQ Management System Policy, the MODEC Life Saving Rules, and the policies, guides, process standards and work instructions available in the Integrated Management System (IMS). Act to promote the preservation of the environment, the health and occupational safety (personnel and their team), the safety of processes, and the preservation of assets in their scale of responsibility. Emergency Plan: As per indication on the Training Matrix, Emergency Management Guide and Offshore Emergency Management, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS). Job Requirement: Minimum 7-10 years experience and above in Oil &Gas/Marine Industry as QAQC Inspector - Piping/Structutal/Welding/NDT inspections. Posses AWS or CSWIP 3.1 certification preferred. Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) required. Ability to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment. - Ability to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and action. Strong ability to solve problems and communicate persuasively. Fluency in written / spoken English and Mandarin is expected.
