Supports the management financial reporting process for the Singapore operating group - analyze and communicate all financial data related to the country's operations, including budgets, forecasts, financial statements, monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting, and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Financial policies implementation and direction - support the implementation all financial policies, procedures, and systems including payroll, budgeting, forecasting, in-country credit, cash management and internal management of country finance departments, ensuring compliance with all fiscal conditions.
- Support the Finance Director in providing strategic and financial counsel on business processes & practices that produce profitable business unit growth and maximizes return on capital employed.
- Partnering along with the business units to improve cash days in relation to DSO, DOI and DPO
- Coordinate timely reviews of the operating group and its business operations financial status with a focus on maximizing return on working capital, directing preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
- Performs metric analysis of financial data from financial statements including cost analysis, bad debt, gross profit, CM, ROWC, and other appropriate measurements.
- Engages in negotiations and develops relationships with suppliers and customers to provide financial insights.
- Support the credit process in collaboration with the COE team in Malaysia
- Support the COE Controllership team in Malaysia on month/quarterly/year end closing requirements
- Support any ad-hoc financial modelling requirements in relation to business needs.
