**Overview**:
We are looking for a hands-on Resident Engineer to provide end-to-end IT infrastructure support, combining data centre operations, networking, and cybersecurity expertise. This role requires a well-rounded technical professional who can troubleshoot across different domains, ensure system uptime, and support ongoing IT operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide on-site support for IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network equipment within the data centre environment.
- Monitor system performance, carry out preventive maintenance, and ensure high availability of IT services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Support network operations, including configuration, patching, and basic firewall/security administration.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls, including vulnerability management and incident response.
- Document technical processes, incidents, and solutions to ensure operational consistency.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support and escalations.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, data centre operations, or network/system administration.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing/switching).
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices (endpoint security, patching, monitoring, incident response).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent will be a strong advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
