YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure Management
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure (primary), AWS, and on-premises environments for multiple clients
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and performance
- Manage and optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining service quality
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
CI/CD Pipeline Management
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD
- Automate deployment processes and improve development workflow efficiency
- Ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the CI/CD pipeline
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing pipeline performance
Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for consistent, repeatable deployments
- Create and manage CloudFormation/CDK templates for AWS resources (preferred)
- Version control infrastructure code and implement proper change management processes
- Document infrastructure configurations and maintain architectural diagrams
Design & Architecture
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design scalable, secure cloud solutions
- Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical recommendations
- Research and evaluate new technologies and services to improve client offerings
- Contribute to infrastructure standards and best practices development
Client Support
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on infrastructure-related matters
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions as needed
- Create and maintain documentation for client environments
- Ensure SLA compliance and communicate effectively about service status
WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing managed services team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining cloud infrastructure for our diverse client portfolio while ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Technical Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (primary focus), working knowledge of AWS
- Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform for multi-cloud deployments
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- On-Premises: Experience managing traditional infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments
- Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux and Windows server administration
- Networking: Understanding of cloud networking, VPNs, load balancing, and security groups
- Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring tools and log management systems
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or similar role
- Experience managing infrastructure for multiple clients or environments
- Proven track record of implementing automation and improving operational efficiency
- Experience with incident response and troubleshooting in production environments
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices
- Customer service mindset with focus on client satisfaction
BONUS SKILLS
- Containerization: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration
- Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Security: Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Certifications: Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer Expert), AWS certifications, or Terraform certifications
- Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other automation languages
- Database Management: Experience with cloud databases and backup strategies
- Agile/DevOps Culture: Experience working in Agile development environments
