[What the role is]

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

As central bank, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through the conduct of monetary policy and close macroeconomic surveillance and analysis. It manages Singapore’s exchange rate, official foreign reserves, and liquidity in the banking sector.

As an integrated financial supervisor, MAS fosters a sound financial services sector through its prudential oversight of all financial institutions in Singapore - banks, insurers, capital market intermediaries, financial advisors, and stock exchanges. It is also responsible for well-functioning financial markets, sound conduct, and investor education.

MAS also works with the financial industry to promote Singapore as a dynamic international financial centre. It facilitates the development of infrastructure, adoption of technology, and upgrading of skills in the financial industry.

You will be part of the team responsible for developing and delivering the MAS transactions platform (MAS-Tx) that is the integrated platform for financial institutions (FIs) to use for regulatory submissions to MAS. You will play a pivotal role as a Product Owner. In particular, you will be responsible for delivering the solution to support MAS supervisors of FIs to efficiently and effectively analyse and assess submissions from FIs via the platform. You will also be part of the Capital Markets Group (CMG) Tech Products Team, which is responsible for managing and developing tech products to support the work of CMG.

You are expected to:

- MAS Transactions Platform _
- Be overall responsible for charting the product roadmap and vision;
- Develop product strategy that delivers strong user experiences and outcomes;
- Prioritise the features to develop and implement, taking into the account the trade-offs between timeline, cost, quality and scope;
- Identify key KPIs to be delivered by the product;
- Engage departments and other stakeholders to reimagine business processes where necessary such that the product meets the organisational priorities;
- Conduct focus group discussions and user testing/feedback to better understand the user personas and needs of the users,
- Manage the project implementation with vendors and in-house developer teams, as relevant, covering procurement and related execution needs;
- Oversee change management to facilitate the users in adopting the product and new ways of working.
- CMG Tech Products Team _
- Work with product managers on current CMG tech products to ensure smooth service delivery;
- Help develop a long-term tech products roadmap for CMG.

**Job Requirements**:

- Self-driven, creative person with good interpersonal and communication skills who is able to develop a clear vision, motivate the team and execute stakeholder engagement.
- Preferably with experience in
- Product ownership including use of agile and scrum and user experience mapping/design thinking;
- Financial institution supervisory processes; and/or
- Delivering digital solutions in FIs such as case management or risk management systems.
