KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) was incorporated as a Public Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) under Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Sep 2020 to implement the KidSTART scale-up to provide upstream support to children from low-income families in the areas of childhood development, health and social support.
**Description of Department**
You will be part of the KidSTART Capability Development Branch, tasked to ensure the delivery of specialised training programmes for KidSTART practitioners and volunteers. This involves identifying, conceptualising, developing and supporting training across the early childhood development, social support and health domains. The Branch also identifies, engages and procures suitable training providers and consultants to conduct training and best practice sessions, as well as develop training and educational resources.
**Responsibilities**
You will provide administrative and logistics support related to the delivery of KidSTART training programmes, as well as work related to the set up and migration of training data into a new Training and Learning management system.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the team in:
- Training and Learner Management System Setup (Data migration)
- Support with the organisation of workgroup meetings
- Assist in managing the tender process for selecting the Training/Learning Management System (TLMS) vendor
- Coordination between the consultancy team, vendor, internal and external stakeholders in ensuring the timely delivery of deliverables and addressing any issues that arise
- Organize and prepare data required for seamless migration into the TLMS
- Document processes and procedures related to data migration and training coordination within the TLMS
- Transfer existing training data and records accurately into the TLMS
- Training administration and documentation
- Verify, track training program registrations, maintain accurate records of participant attendance and completion status.
- Generate reports and summaries related to training program registrations and attendance and post training evaluations.
- Support in data entry, basic data analysis, assist and maintain records of training documentation (e.g. registration forms, attendance lists, feedback forms, certifications)
- Assist and maintain training inventory (e.g. preparing and transporting training materials)
- Training coordination
- Work closely with the appointed external training provider to coordinate training sessions, required room set-up and any other additional assistance required for training sessions. E.g provide on-site training support, arranging furniture to set up the room, attendance-taking and arrange for refreshment etc.
- Assist with other training administration and logístical matters as required or requested
**Competencies**
- Diploma/Degree qualification in a relevant field is required
- Previous experience in policy operations, supporting the setup of training system, data management, or administrative roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous in work
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and most importantly, a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work to tight timelines in a fast-paced working environment
