Assistant Director, Research

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support efforts to develop SCCC as a key institution in the research of the cultural heritage of the Chinese community in Singapore.
- Conduct research, write, edit and present on topics related to history and identity of the Chinese community in Singapore.
- Drive collaborative research projects with partners in the academia, civic organisations and public institutions.
- Commission and supervisor the production of documentaries, book publications and online content.
- Implement public outreach programmes by staging exhibitions, talks and community events.
**Requirements**:
- Good experience in stakeholders’ engagement and content development.
- Good experience in research projects and content development.
- Strong writing and speaking skills in English and Chinese.
- Able to engage effectively with stakeholders including members of the academia, the arts and culture sector as well as the community leaders,
- Able to lead and implement research projects and content creation independently.
- Good understanding of the local arts and heritage sector and Chinese community.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
