DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE & PROJECTS
[What you will be working on]
Singapore has 5,500 buses, 5000 bus stops, which serve approximately 4 million customers every day. The Bus Information Systems division delivers cutting edge technical solutions that benefits Passengers, Operators, and internal LTA stakeholders through the provision of travel information. Our projects include the Common Fleet Management System (CFMS), Passenger Information Display System on Buses and at bus stops, as well as Assistive Technologies to benefit Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
You will be part of a dynamic and friendly team responsible for managing these systems. Your tasks will include overseeing the comprehensive maintenance and operations of systems, auditing of systems, and managing contracts. You will also have the opportunity to develop and improve such systems. Your work will involve both office work, as well as on-site work at bus stop, bus depots, and on-board buses.
Your work will help LTA deliver high quality asset management solutions that adhere to the ISO55000 series of standards, and ensure that Singaporeans continue to enjoy a World Class Public Transport System.
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary Qualification in any discipline.
- Process-oriented, organised, and attentive to details, with excellent communication and people skills.
- Proven leadership skills, able to motivate and be a strong team player.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and general computer usage is a must.
- Formal project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, etc) or service management (e.g. ITIL) certification or experience will be advantageous.
- Comfortable working in both the office and on-site.
