**Responsibilities**:

- Equity origination involving analysis, profiling and pitching documents on target industries and companies to provide financing and valuation options.
- Communication with other syndicate banks and professional parties to coordinate in deal execution and book building efforts
- Organise and run roadshows with potential investors as well as provide feedback and coaching
- Collection of data into analysis and modelling in order to create financial models, charts, presentation and supporting material
- Internal sales communication support on deal selling points and angles and case studies
- Understanding of equity market fundamentals & work with internal and external stakeholders to make data-driven contributions to support seniors in the Equity Capital Market team on origination, syndication as well as execution tasks

**Requirements**:

- Financial / Accounting/ Economics background preferred, entry level applicants from reputable universities are welcome to apply
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, particularly the ability to articulate ideas in a concise and accurate manner
- A keen eye for presentation and details, the ability to produce professional Powerpoint presentations is a key analyst quality
- Adept at Microsoft Office products, in particular Powerpoint and Excel. Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal will be an added bonus
- Fluency in Chinese for active liaising with Mandarin speaking clients will be an added advantage
- Proven ability to think strategically, creative problem solver
- Demonstrated record of working collaboratively
- Ability to work in dynamic situations i.e. prioritize and respond well to changing circumstances, ad hoc tasks and deadlines
